It’s been a week now of working at the Celebration of Fine Art and I’ve gotten a lot of painting done. It’s what you do when you have no computer, no refridgerator and you’re tethered to the easel. It has been a great week visiting with old and new friends and to see all the new art that everyone is creating.
These photos give you a sense of what the show is like. It is 3 giant tents put together in a “U” shape with 100 artists working and selling in the “white tents”. The last photo is me painting in my “studio” at the Celebration. Each artist has a booth space similar to mine. Each of us paints, designs and decorates within our own space however we want it. Some of the booths are works of art in themselves. I’m always amazed at what the artists do to their space. I keep mine relatively simple.
I’m hoping to take photos and short interviews with some of the artists in the “tent”. I’ve already met a couple of facebook artists at the show. If you are in Scottsdale between now and the end of March, stop by the show to visit me.
I also want to introduce my first of four limited edition prints in 2013, ”Cholla Dreams” from the series “Romance of the Landscape”. For more info click here.
